Working with raw wool, in the wool room weaving by hand on peg looms, this workshop is about understanding the basics of weaving as a craft practice.

Learn about sheep wool, how it is grown, harvested, & processed into yarn and how our different certified organic breeds produce different types and grades of wool. Create unique woven textile pieces on handmade peg looms using a range of wool materials. You will make a tuffet - which is a heavy wool seat pad that is incredibly comfortable and hard wearing, plus either a table runner or long bench cushion .
