A Creative Day of Weaving, Winter Edition

Working with raw wool, in the woolroom on primitive, handmade looms, this workshop is about understanding the different weaving methods and types of looms.

Learn about sheep wool, how it is grown, harvested, & processed into yarn and how our different certified organic breeds produce different types and grades of wool. Create unique woven textile pieces on handmade peg looms using a range of wool materials. You will make a tuffet - which is a heavy wool seat pad that is incredibly comfortable and hard wearing, plus either a table runner or long bench cushion .

Price: €145 per person including lunch
