Felting is an ancient fibre craft, in fact the original textile making technique. It can be used to create fabrics from the finest, soft textile for clothing all the way to the raw textured full wild felted fleece - and everything in between. A hugely versatile craft, understanding the method is key.

In this full day workshop, the process is explained in detail, covering the full range of steps that wool goes through from the sheep to the final textile. You will also craft by hand, a unique raw wool rug, full of texture and energy ready to use in your home. **Note that this process is quite physically challenging, working with heavy wet wool and participants should not sign up for this if you have back problems.
